2.A. Council Appointments to Boards and Commissions- 6:02 PM

Councilmember Marsh-Holschen moved to nominate the entire slate of candidates on the 2024 Boards and Commissions Master Applicant List. Per Section 6.1 of the Council's Procedures and Rules of Order, nominations do not require a second.

2.B. Appointments to Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability- 6:06 PM

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Brandon Mauch, Sean McKenzie, Lois Vanderkooi, Elizabeth Mays and Mathias Johnsen each be appointed to the Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability for a 4-year term. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Nguyen, and passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Lance French and Scott Whitmore be appointed to the Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability for a 2-year term. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Henkel, and passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Sarah Braun and Marcus Giron be appointed as alternate members to the Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability for a 2-year term. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Henkel, and passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Makayla Stozki be appointed as a youth member to the Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability for a 2-year term. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Delgadillo, and passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Coranelle Mork be appointed as a youth alternate member to the Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability for a 2-year term. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Lim, and passed 9-0.

2.C. Appointments to Arts, History, and Cultural Council- 6:24 PM

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Ajay Chankramath and Julie Fuller be appointed to the Arts, History, and Cultural Council for a 4-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Delgadillo, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Ann Brazil, Mackenzie Carignan, and Nancy Christy be appointed as members to the Arts, History, and Cultural Council for an unexpired 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Marsh-Holschen, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Dorian Wilderman and Joshua Vigliotti be appointed as alternate members to the Arts, History, and Cultural Council for 2-year terms. Seconded by Councilmember Nguyen, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Celeste Pontarelli be appointed as a youth member to the Arts, History, and Cultural Council for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Ward, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Chloe Whiteside be appointed as a youth alternate member to the Arts, History, and Cultural Council for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Ward, the motion passed 9-0.

2.D. Appointments to the Broomfield Housing Alliance- 6:40 PM

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Joy Castillo and Linda Fahrenbruch each be appointed to the Broomfield Housing Alliance for a 4-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Henkel, the motion passed 9-0.

2.E. Appointments to Historic Landmark Board- 6:41 PM

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Morgana Meader, Helmut Verlage, and Cynthia Williams each be appointed to the Historic Landmark Board for a 4-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Nguyen, the motion passed 9-0.

Note: Two (2) alternate member terms were not filled.

2.F. Appointments to Land Use Review Commission- 6:45 PM

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Earl Franz, Jennifer Mickelsen, Bruce Peterman, and Kimberly Williford each be appointed to the Land Use Review Commission for a 4-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Delgadillo, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Brayan Marin and Frank Dong be appointed as alternate members to the Land Use Review Commission for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Delgadillo, the motion passed 9-0.

2.G. Appointments to Library Board- 7:03 PM

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that David Feineman, Dana Inerfeld, Cheryl Lovell, and Patsy Thompson each be appointed as a member to the Library Board for a 4-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Lim, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Blake Unis and David Taylor be appointed as alternate members to the Library Board for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Delgadillo, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Jericho Bondi be appointed as a youth member to the Library Board for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Henkel, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Jacqueline Steven be appointed as a youth alternate member to the Library Board for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Nguyen, the motion passed 9-0.

2.H. Appointments to Neighborhood Board of Adjustments- 7:13 PM

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Denise Burtzlaff, Jeffrey Freeland, Michele Gupton, and Leonard Giuliano each be appointed to the Neighborhood Board of Adjustment for a 4-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Lim, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Ben Shaw and Vinny Pallone be appointed as alternate members to the Neighborhood Board of Adjustment for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Ward, the motion passed 9-0.

2.I. Appointments to Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee- 7:17 PM

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Doug Errett, Jess Crowley, and Chandler Evey each be appointed as members to the Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee for a 4-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Nguyen, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that River Paranto and Joel Niles be appointed as alternates to the Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Nguyen, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Ananda Aaron Paudel be appointed as a youth member to the Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Ward, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Ava Fahlsing be appointed as a youth alternate to the Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Lim, the motion passed 9-0.

2.J. Appointments to Parks, Recreation and Senior Services Advisory Committee- 7:31 PM

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Alex Ariniello, Chris Roarty, and Holly Taylor each be appointed as members to the Parks, Recreation and Senior Services Advisory Committee for a 4-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Leslie, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Chris Vanderbilt and Arlene Krauss be appointed as alternates to the Parks, Recreation and Senior Services Advisory Committee for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Marsh-Holschen, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Joaquin Ocon-Garcia be appointed as a youth member to the Parks, Recreation and Senior Services Advisory Committee for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Henkel, the motion passed 9-0.

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Natalie Rodgers be appointed as a youth alternate to the Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee for a 2-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Lim, the motion passed 9-0.

2.K. Appointments to Personnel Merit Commission- 7:48 PM

Mayor Pro Tem Shaff moved that Gary Berlin be appointed as a member to the Personnel Merit Commission for a 4-year term. Seconded by Councilmember Henkel, the motion passed 9-0.
